University of Leeds: Co-POWeR
Co-POWeR: Consortium on Practices for Wellbeing and Resilience in BAME Families and Communities is a project headed up by The University of Leeds using external Co-investigators from Warwick University, Southampton University and many others.
A 12 month project, Co-POWeR researchers will undertake over 350 interviews with participants in various source languages. To supplement their research the researchers will design questionnaires that will need translating from English to ten different languages including Arabic, Swahilli and Afrikaans.
With the nature of the project, the interviews would pose difficulty with regards to accents and language combinations used within each interview.
