Psicon, a leading provider of neurodevelopmental assessments and mental health services, faced a growing challenge in ensuring their clinical documentation kept pace with patient demand. With thousands of detailed ASD and ADHD reports generated each month, accuracy and consistency were paramount, yet clinical professionals needed to remain focused on patient care, not editing. 

 The Solution 

Accuro partnered closely with Psicon to design a tailored editing workflow that ensured clinical documentation met the highest standards of accuracy and consistency without slowing down service delivery. 

The process began with reviewing Psicon’s sample reports and collaborating on the creation of a comprehensive editing guide and crib sheets, which were then distributed to Accuro’s specialist panel of clinical proofreaders. This framework ensured every proofreader worked from the same set of guidelines, tailored to Psicon’s requirements. 

 Key areas of focus were categorised into: 

• Formatting: ensuring reports were uniform, clear, and accessible 
• Editing Requirements: consistency of tone, structure, and readability across documents 
• Clinical Accuracy: safeguarding the integrity of sensitive clinical information 

 The Impact 

Throughout August 2025 alone, Accuro proofread and edited over 2,000 ASD and ADHD reports on Psicon’s behalf. This volume demonstrated Accuro’s ability to scale quickly, alleviating administrative bottlenecks and freeing Psicon’s clinicians to prioritise direct patient care. 

Psicon adopted a simple price-per-task model, making the partnership cost-effective, transparent, and easy to manage. The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, with Psicon highlighting the quality, consistency, and reliability of Accuro’s service. Based on this success, Psicon plans to continue the partnership on a long-term basis.
